History of Elegant Eraser's...

Hey Everyone! Well, I am new to the blog world, my sis-in-law has finally convinced me to start my blog (and keep it going) along with upgrading from my old flip phone to an iphone (which I am still figuring out how to work) and no unfortunately I am not kidding... Last Year I came up with the idea of Elegant Erasers. I became sick of writing and re-writing notes to my husband, post-it notes to myself by the coffee pot, a list on the fridge of things to be done at the house, etc, etc. The constant papers taped to the microwave and stuck to the counter were unsightly not to mention all the paper I was wasting... I was at Walmart grocery shopping, and thought I would get a dry-erase board for my fridge for notes, all the options they had were too large or too small. The next day I was at the craft store, and thought I would see if they had a different size dry erase board, they had a good size so I bought it. I got home to put it on my fridge and it looked more like a college dorm room accessory than a cute kitchen accessory. It then clicked that I would frame the board in decorative framing, in 3 sizes: Small which can magnetize to the fridge, or display vertically or horizontally on a counterspace. Four hours later my husband gets home to find the kitchen and living room in destruction and me working like a mad scientist trying to figure out how to make the erasers work. A week later I had my proto-type in the small size, and then I created a medium size (which I call my menu board size) and the large size, which is ideal for a larger kitchen, laundry area, or kids room. I was just excited to start using them for myself and give a few away to friends and family when someone told me that I should patent the idea. When I looked into how much a patent cost, (upwards of $5-10,000) I decided to try and obtain the patents myself. I received my patent pending status for my Elegant Eraser for both Utility and Design, and now am creating my blog to share! Okay, I just realized how much I typed, so I better stop for now and start figuring out how to upload the photo's! ha :-) Happy Erasing!
